With degrees in History, Archaeology, and Museology, she is a founding member and Executive Director of the Acesso Cultura association. She is the author of the books *Musing on Culture: Management, Communications and our Relationship with People* (Bypass, 2010) and *What do we have to do with this? The political role of cultural organizations* (Tigre de Papel and Buala, 2022). She was Director of Communications at the São Luiz Teatro Municipal (2006-2012) and Communications Manager at the Pavilhão do Conhecimento – Ciência Viva (2001-2006). She was a member of the governing bodies of ICOM Portugal (2005-2014) and editor of its newsletter. She collaborated with the Discover and Next Future programs of the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation. She participated in the European RESHAPE project, specifically in the “Arts and Citizenship” group.
